Helicopter flight bookings typically require a minimum of two passenger purely to cover the operational costs. For this reason, single passengers often miss out on seeing Nitmiluk Gorge from above.

Our Single Seat departure allows independent travellers to book a single seat on the full Signature 13 Gorge flight. Operating on selected Wednesdays and Saturdays at midday, this shared scenic flight accommodates up to three guests and delivers the complete 17-kilometre gorge system.

This is not a shortened route or reduced experience. You will track the full length of Nitmiluk Gorge, following the Katherine River as it winds between towering sandstone escarpments shaped over millions of years.

What You’ll See From The Air

Departing from our helipad inside Nitmiluk National Park means every moment in the sky is scenic from the start.

Ascending past the Visitor Information Centre and boat ramp, the helicopter enters the mouth of the gorge before tracking the entire 13 Gorge system. From above, you see layered cliffs, hidden waterways and ancient rock formations in a scale impossible to appreciate from ground level.

This 20-minute flight reveals one of Australia’s most remarkable landscapes in its entirety.

How to make a booking

Our Single Seat Helicopter Flights are designed to be shared, with a minimum of two passengers required to fly. This helps us create a more enjoyable and cost-effective experience for everyone on board.

For single seat bookings, payment is only processed once your flight is confirmed, and we’ll give you at least 48 hours notice prior to departure.
